So I just downloaded the film "Shutter" here from Flixdump. It's a foreign film, and the download came with a .srt file. what is this file? Is this perhaps for the subtitles? How do I get this to work? Cuz of course otherwise I can't understand the film

For anyone else with problems, just install it, and then when you want to play the movie, open the avi file and the srt file TOGETHER and it should work.
Now here's my question: How do I burn this movie onto a DVD with the subtitles. Do I just burn both the files onto the DVD together and it'll work? or what...thanks
use the app avi2dvd it's free i think...
thanks, I'll check out that program, looks good. Just curious, how long on average does it take to convert an avi to a dvd with that program, say with an average size of 700 MB?

.srt's are subs, the best way to get all codes is to download
k-lite codec pack
it has nearly all codecs that u need
best player to use is the video lan, VLC player
it comes with builtin subtitle player, thing,
so when your selecting video file, you can select the subs, and select font size, and all that...

Hmm i would say like 3 - 4 hours maybe.... well it depends on how fast your comp is, i usally have it on over the night.

Sorry Forgot to mension that this program is to burn both the movie and the srt. file is the movie title is la _la_c u should name the srt.file the same la_la_c this program will convert the movie and burn in about 45 to 60 minutes i have windows vista and it works perfect on the interface check subtitle it should show 1,2.3 as many as u have if not make sure you have both files in the same foulder and that they are name the same
if still don't show just click subtitles in the interface and click ad,I hope that work for u as it did for me i have burn more then 10 and they all work
