Yeah I heard about this. He's meddled with the worlds most dangerous animals and is the 17th person in 100 years that has died because of a Stingray.

We all knew the day would come, and so did he.

R.I.P Steve Irwin
But i think he died from the right animal, im not saying he should've because i loved his documentaries
but if he died from a gator or snake
everyone would be like, yea we knew that was going to happen pretty soon
but he died from an animal that doesnt attack that often, and people know that it had to be really hard for him to be that close

and now everyone knows how proffesional he was with gators and snakes
R.I.P
i really hope his family doesnt go through hard time,
I loved Steve Irwin. I;ve always watched the aussie's documentarys. But there was one thing he did that turned the world on him, when he was by the alligator (i think) with his baby in his arms. That really disgusted me.
yes that really turned his career in the wrong direction
but i looked into it, and there was no danger wat so ever
first of all, this dude has been with aligators long enough to know their reaction
secondly i saw a footage from the zoo itself, showing from the side, and the baby was so far, that even if the aligator jumped at it, it wouldnt reach, there was no danger
but people made it look bad so they could sue and that crap
anyway, i liked him..

im not a big fan to defend him or anything im just saying it wasnt as bad as you think, though it is wrong to even put a baby inside an area with a dangerous animal in it
When he died i was shocked at how big he was in America, you would think he would be biger in his own country but yea.
such a cool guy, a little crazy but cool, its a shame that people in his own country didnt like him, some didnt even know who he was

Well i live in Australia and I would not know a single person who doesn't know who he is.

He was extremely popular in his own country - but that baby incident did put a dint in his popularity.

When he died we heard about it in the Aussie media for weeks.

I think a lot of people are over his daughter - Bindi. Too much too soon I think. In my opinion she didn't really grieve the loss of her dad.
my uncle and auntie live in australia dn they said that they didnt really know who he was and that most of the people in their country didnt know who he was, becasue his carrer was in the USA and UK

I disagree totally. He has a big theme park in Queensland. They must really keep to themselves if they have not heard of him.
