I downloaded a video from limewire that is supposively a video for harry potter (the critics copy) thus, it wouldnt be a cam copy and would be of greater interest. problem is the file is an avi type which i have no idea what to do. help? thx.

What file type is it? is it just .avi?

if it is .avi that will play on almost anything on windows
