Okay here is the guide:
First of all, you need to download the program from www.mirc.com
im going to assume you know where to go to download it and install it,
so
1) Launch mIRC, it will ask about a 30 day trial, press continue, i will provide you with a key that will , you know what.

2) After you click continue a box should pop of, one that looks like this:


3) you will need to fill the box, it does not matter you can fill it up with fake info, something like this


4) click on the servers tab on the left side of the box, and under IRC network: use the dropdown menu to select EFnet, make sure the IRC server drop is selected to EFnet: Random server
It should look like this:


5) Next click, the options tab and have the settings select like those in this picture, *note* you can set the settings to those you like, but the ones set in the picture are recommended


6)This is a optional thing, but it will make the mIRC program automatically join #flixdump when it connects to the EFnet server,
in the same options tab, click the perform button, check the Enable perform on connect, and after click add, select EFnet, make sure the dropdown menu is selected on EFnet, and in the box type this,
"/join #flixdump" with out the quotation marks,
Something like this,


**NOTE** you can basicly press ok from here on, but i'll keep going to provide more comfort for users,

7) Click the IRC tab, and CHECK the following,
Rejoin channel when kicked
Rejoin channels on connect

8) next click the options tab within the IRC tab, and check, Skip the MOTD on connect, a popup will come and just press ok,

9) You can disable the sounds from, Sounds, and uncheck the enable sounds.
Trust me you will probably want to do this later, because the sounds get really annoying.

And that should be it,
Press ok, and on the toolbar, there should be a lightning icon, click it and it will connect,
after it has connected to the server *it might take a few seconds*, a popup should come up with channels, in the very botom uncheck pop up favorites on connect

And it should automaticaly join the flixdump channel , if it doesnt, in the type bar in the bottom part of the window, type /join #flixdump

i forgot to put this into the guide,
mIRC looks very , well i should say, GAY, with its colours, because its white, and i hate it,
so what you can do, is there are a couple of books, in the tool bar, i dont exacly know what it looks like, but its colour settings, click it
and a box should appear, you can set the scheme to mochronome, which i think is very good,
but all grey isnt very good, so i like these colours
*to change the colours, select one of the writings and select the colour*
Action Text - pink
Ctcp text - red
Highlight text - orange
info/info2 text - light green, the bright one
invite text- yellow
join text- blue
kick/mode - light green
nick text - yellow
normal text - white
notice text - the, hmm the darkish blue thingi lol
notifiy text: oragne
other text - grey
own text - white
part text- purple
quit text - light blue
topic text - the darkish blue thing
wallops text - yellow
whois text - dark green

These are colours that will make mIRC look cool, hope that helps too
