I downloaded a movie and extracted it. Everything went fine but when I play the avi file I can hear the movie but only see the Windows Media graphic. Any ideas? This is very cool

Try VLC player. It works best for me.

Okay, I am intruding here lol, I have asked this but never had time to do this. so i kinda forgot but i think i am missing something, I have posted before.) I have downloaded a movie, and downloaded vlc and dvd flix, my computer has window dvd maker and of course media player. To play the movie from my laptop i use vlc and works fine, when i try to burn to disc, and then try play disc on laptop i do not see picture. when i put it on my playstation 3 it says unsupported data, What i am trying to do is burn to a disc. thanks

Okay i tried loading the burned dvd back to my laptop and use vlc and it works fine. picture and movie. I guess the ps3 cannot read it....any suggestions??

Did you use DVD Flick to convert and burn? Are you in North America? If so, you need to change one of the options before you start. Just before you hit the start button, go to the video option, change "PAL" to "NTSC" Also, the DVD needs to be "Finalized" or it wont work in your PS. Just check the finalize button in the burn options.
If this doesn't work, make a new post telling me step by step what you did, and the options you chose. We can try again. ( It took me a few tries to makes something other than a coaster.)
